Our Commitment
 

Bhostd is more than just a booking platform—it’s a global community built on mutual respect, safety, and integrity. These community standards guide behavior across all interactions and ensure our users feel confident participating in every aspect of the platform.
 

Violation of these standards may lead to content removal, restriction of features, account suspension, or permanent removal from Bhostd.


Core Values
 

  1. Respect

    Treat others with kindness and dignity. Personal attacks, slurs, and offensive gestures have no place on Bhostd. This includes during stays, experiences, communications, and reviews.

  2. Integrity

    Be truthful in your profile, listing, pricing, and availability. Misleading users, manipulating reviews, or concealing key information undermines trust.

  3. Safety

    Every guest and host deserves to feel secure. Dangerous behavior, threats, or neglect of property and personal safety are taken seriously.

  4. Inclusivity

    We welcome users regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or background. Discrimination or harassment violates our Nondiscrimination Policy.

  5. Accountability

    Own your actions. Guests should respect house rules and listings. Hosts must honor bookings and maintain clean, safe spaces. All users are responsible for abiding by local laws and platform policies.


Prohibited Behaviors
 

  • Harassment, stalking, or intimidation

  • Physical violence or threats

  • Discrimination or hate speech

  • Property damage or theft

  • Off-platform solicitation or fee collection

  • Using fake profiles or reviews

  • Ignoring host rules or check-in/check-out policies

  • Booking stays under false pretenses (e.g., parties, subletting)

  • Attempting to bypass Bhostd’s systems or protections
     


Reporting Misconduct
 

If you feel unsafe, disrespected, or that someone is violating these standards:
 

All reports are confidential. Bhostd’s Trust & Safety Team investigates promptly and may request supporting documentation, screenshots, or message transcripts.


Consequences for Violations
 

Depending on the severity and frequency, Bhostd may take the following actions:
 

  • Warning or educational outreach

  • Temporary feature limitations (e.g., messaging, listing)

  • Removal of listing or content

  • Permanent account deactivation
     

Repeat violations or egregious offenses (e.g., assault, fraud, hate speech) result in immediate account termination.

These standards apply equally to guests, hosts, and all service providers. We encourage all users to:

  • Use the Inbox to clarify expectations before booking

  • Leave honest, constructive reviews
